The Metropolis Complex first opened in 1998 as the Parliament Resort of Augusta. We have evolved into a 15-acre fun gay complex in historic Augusta, Georgia. Consisting of two motels, two bars, two saltwater pools, café, RV park and several all-male clothing-optional amenities, we are the largest gay resort in the southeast and possibly the world. We have 130 available rooms (68 Parliament, 62 Executive Inn) with choices of 1 or 2 queen, or 1 king bed. All rooms are non-smoking with TV, air conditioning and a private bath. Select rooms have a microwave oven, mini-fridge and safe. There are two bars located within the Metropolis Complex. The Capri Lounge is Augusta’s only retro piano bar and includes a pool, while the Edge Nightclub is an energetic dance club with entertainment. Both venues are open to members as well as the public. Bar patrons must be at least 21 years old per Georgia law. The Parliament Resort section of the complex (including the Café and RV Park) is all-male and fully enclosed with a gated entrance while the Executive Inn welcomes everyone. While the Parliament Resort offers clothing optional pool and hot tub areas, nudity is not permitted elsewhere on the grounds or at the Executive Inn facility or the Capri Lounge pool.

Memberships are $25 per person and are valid for a full year. We are accepting of anyone 18 years old and over who fall under the LGBTQIA+ spectrum: men, women, bi-, trans, and so on. Of course the campground is open to our straight friends as well. The bottom line is that we welcome the LGBTQIA+ community, and friends of the LGBTQIA+ community (we'll refer to this as "LGBTQIA+friends" on our website). This means if you're gay or trans, for example, and your straight friends want to come with you to check it all out, bring 'em. If you're gay, but your bf isn't, and he wants to come check the place out, bring him, LOL.

These same-sex couples shared stories of being bullied at other campgrounds and voila — the idea to create a gay campground was born! Together, we grew a community of like-minded outdoor enthusiasts who enjoyed Starlite’s natural beauty. By 2013, we added tiny homes, transforming Starlite from an RV campground into a village with a neighborhood feel. We had no idea how popular these cozy homes would become, but everyone loved them! Triangle Recreation Camp (TRC) is the Northwest’s Premier recreational campground that is Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer owned and operated. Established in 1975, TRC sits in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, 21 miles East of Granite Falls, Washington, on the Mountain Loop Highway. TRC is an 80 acre camping and RV getaway near Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland for those 21 years of age and older and identity as LGBTQ+, open mid-April through beginning of October.

Set on 82 acres of woods, trails, meadows, and ponds, TPL offers a private getaway where guests can unwind, connect, and choose their own pace. Inside the Lodge While the campground itself has 82 acres, with tenting areas, 7.5 miles of trails, two meadows, two ponds, loads of wildlife, and beautiful views, the lodge itself is also loaded with things to do. The lodge is divided into two distinct areas, first there is the main hall. The main hall has a dining space, a full bar, a lounge area, and the billiards tables. We use this space to host many of our events, including the weekly pot-luck, the weekly billiards tournament, Bingo, games, and of course Karaoke. Twin Ponds Lodge has one of the best Karaoke systems in Maine. This area also houses the Bear's Den which is our video lounge. The other half of the lodge houses the wet rooms. The wet rooms consist of a group shower, a steam room, a dry sauna, and a hot tub. The pool room also houses a small video lounge and two small cabana like rooms, incase you would like to relax in private. Inside the lodge we also have a locker room, restroom, and of course the office where you check in upon arrival. The office also has a small shop with an assortment we're pretty sure you won't find anywhere else.
