Join us for the Freedom Float on the Delaware Water Gap, a self-guided kayak and canoe adventure down the Delaware River during Independence Day Weekend at Camp OUT Poconos. Your trip includes transportation from camp, river equipment, life jackets, paddles, boats ready at launch, and shuttle service back to camp after the float. Trip Options & Pricing Solo Kayak — $70 Perfect for one guest who wants their own kayak. Tandem Kayak — $140 Double occupancy. Great for two guests paddling together. Tandem Canoe — $140 Double occupancy. A relaxed option for two guests who want to float together. All prices are in U.S. dollars. What’s Included Your booking includes transportation from Camp OUT Poconos to Smithfield Beach River Access, kayak or canoe rental, life jacket, paddle, boat setup at launch, and shuttle service back to camp from the end of the trip. Shuttles back to camp will depart as they fill. Event Schedule 10:00 AM — Depart from the Camp OUT store 10:30 AM — Hit the water Float Trip — 6-mile self-guided river trip, approximately 2–3 hours 1:00–2:00 PM — Shuttles begin returning guests to camp What to Bring Drinks and snacks are not included. Personal-size coolers are welcome. Recommended items include swimwear, hat, sunglasses, water-friendly footwear, sunscreen, towel, and a dry bag for phones or valuables. This event is rain or shine, and trip protection is recommended.
